Learn about the diagnosis and treatment of Lupus, an inflammatory disease that is caused by a person's immune system attacking its own tissues. Guest speakers include Peter M. Rumore, MD, FACP, FACR, Assistant Professor at the Stony Brook School of Medicine and New York State Assemblyman Fred W. Thiele, Jr. There will also be a panel featuring patients living with Lupus.
Hosted in conjunction with Lupus Alliance of Long Island/Queens. This event is free and open to the public. Continental breakfast will be served.
