Pet Therapy

Southampton Hospital is proud to offer a pet therapy program to bring comfort and joy to patients. The program is run in partnership with Angel on a Leash, an organization that promotes the role of the human-animal bond in enhancing human health and quality of life. Dogs and their handlers are certified through Pet Partners, a nonprofit organization that trains animals and handlers for assisted therapy programs nationwide.
