Volunteer Opportunities
Southampton Hospital is thankful for the generosity of our volunteers – community members, former patients and thoughtful friends who contribute their valuable time to help support our important work. Our volunteers are valued partners who approach their work with commitment to excellence and quality.
Volunteer positions - some involving direct patient care and others providing administrative support to Hospital staff - are available throughout the year or just for the summer. The Hospital, its Thrift Shop on Main Street in Southampton, and its satellite care centers in Westhampton, Hampton Bays, East Hampton and Greenport, are always in need of volunteers.
Individuals of all ages, including teenagers 15 and older, are encouraged to join our hospital family. Volunteering at a hospital is a perfect way for both high school and college students to learn firsthand about careers in healthcare.

Our Volunteer Services Department, located in Room 262 on the second floor of the main hospital building at 240 Meeting House Lane in Southampton Village, is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Please drop by to see us.
