A unique environment…
Southampton Hospital is located in the heart of the seaside village of Southampton, two hours from New York City. It provides healthcare services to an ethnically and so cio-economically diverse population of year-round residents, second homeowners and vacationers. The population, about 75,000 in the winter months, increases sharply to more than 225,000 in the summer.
An exquisite location, Southampton offers a unique environment of verdant fields, ocean vistas and rural charm … and is not nearly as far away as one might think. Although commuting in the summer months can be challenging, it is no more arduous than commuting into the City or Nassau County…and for most of the year, traveling to Southampton is a breeze!
One of the special features of Southampton Hospital’s patient management is its ability to offer multidisciplinary care. That means that physicians, nurses, therapists, technicians and other medical professionals from a range of specialties work together to achieve optimal patient care.
