Kathleen D. Allen Maternity Center Campaign
Southampton Hospital delivers nearly 900 babies each year and offers a warm and caring environment for our patient families. In an effort to make our Maternity Center commensurate with the excellence of our medical staff, we have planned a complete renovation and enhancement of our Obstetrics and Gynecology Floor. Phase I was completed in November 2007 and Phase II is scheduled to resume in Fall of 2008.
The newly renovated unit will feature …
- all single-occupancy, private rooms;
- a new operating suite;
- new labor and delivery rooms (LDRs) featuring state of the art technology; and,
- patient and family amenities
The project is being funded solely through donations and, to date, the Hospital has raised more than $5.1 million. The funding for this project will continue to come from members of our local community who consider Southampton Hospital to be “their” Hospital.
