Quarter Backers
The Quarter Backer program was founded in 1977 by John P. Grattan and is comprised of small business members and individuals who contribute annually to support the Hospital. Quarter Backers have been instrumental in many Hospital projects and over the years have raised funds for such programs as the Breast Health Center, our physical therapy and rehabilitation services and renovations to the Operating and Recovery Rooms to name a few.
For the past several years, the funds raised by the Quarter Backer program have been restricted to the Maternity Center project. In fact, the Maternity Center Campaign has been spearheaded by the efforts of Quarter Backer co-chairmen Tim Maran and George Kazdin.
