October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and
Southampton Hospital and the Coalition for Women’s Cancers at the Hospital have
planned a number of events to focus on the importance of early diagnosis and
benefit the Coalition. A listing of
these events follows:
Pink Ribbon Bagel Benefit
Panera in Hampton Bays
Buy your pink ribbon bagel at Panera in Hampton Bays and 100% of the sale
will benefit local breast cancer awareness organizations, including the

Pink Tree Lighting
Southampton Chamber of Commerce, 76 Main Street, Southampton
October 1 at 6:30 p.m.
Join the Coalition for Women’s Cancers at Southampton Hospital, Southampton
Chamber of Commerce, and the Town and Village of Southampton to kick of breast
cancer awareness month with a tree lighting at the Chamber of Commerce. For

Real Men Wear Pink Cocktail Party
Maidstone Club Tennis House, East Hampton
October 5, 5:00 to 7:30 p.m.
Join the Ellen Hermanson Breast Center and the Coalition for Women’s Cancers at
Southampton Hospital, and Lucia’s Angels for an evening to benefit breast
cancer awareness on the East End. Tickets are $100 per person. For more

San Gennaro Feast of the Hamptons
Good Ground Road, Hampton Bays
October 5-6, 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Bring your family to the San Gennaro Feast of the Hamptons for amazing
food, shopping, family fun, and fireworks (Saturday at 8:30 p.m.)! Proceeds
benefit the Coalition for Women’s Cancers at Southampton Hospital. For more

Shelter Island 5K Run/Walk
Crescent Beach, Shelter Island
October 19 at 11:00 a.m.
Get your exercise with a 3.2-mile tour of beautiful Shelter Island. This
annual tradition will benefit the Coalition for Women’s Cancers at Southampton
Hospital. The cost for those registering before October 19 is $25; $10 for
children ages 14 and under. Participants can also register on the day of the

benefit the Coalition for Women’s Cancers at Southampton Hospital and Lucia’s
