Colleen Taphouse, a Medical Assistant in the Westhampton Primary Care Center, has been chosen as the Hospital’s Employee of the Quarter for the first quarter of 2011. Colleen’s selection was celebrated at a luncheon, where President and CEO Robert S. Chaloner presented her with a trophy recognizing her achievements.

Colleen, a resident of Shirley, began her career at the Westhampton Primary Care Center in 2007 after she finished her internship from Branford Hall where she received her MA certification. Colleen jumped right in and became a vital member of the clerical team.
According to the many accolades by patients and co-workers, it is clear why Colleen was chosen for this award, “Although Colleen is a very busy Mom of 4 she always comes in with a smile and great attitude.” “She is concerned about the well being of our patients and fellow co-workers.” “She is a team player and works well with all of her peers.”

The Westhampton Primary Care Center and Southampton Hospital are very lucky to have Colleen Taphouse as part of the team.
