Eastern Long Island Hospital, Peconic Bay Medical Center and Southampton Hospital established the East End Health Alliance to enhance the ability of the three hospitals to meet their mission to provide excellent, comprehensive health care services to their communities. The Alliance hospitals are all critical health care providers serving a population of more than 300,000 residents covering nearly 300 square miles, providing care to approximately
16,000 inpatients and more than 60,000 emergency room patients annually.

The Alliance hospitals are also an essential component of the local economy, employing 2,000 individuals, with collective operating revenue of $225 million, and generating nearly $1 billion of annual benefit to the local economy.
